Libbey leads our adult fitness programming at Physio, bringing a healthy mix of fun and science to each training session. She was born in Fargo, ND and grew up in Littleton, CO. Libbey was a multi-sport athlete in high school, competing in volleyball and diving. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science from Black Hills State University in Biology, and has worked in settings ranging from healthcare clinics to medical research labs.

She later attended South Dakota School of Mines where she earned a Masters of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Libbey teaches anatomy and pre-health science courses at BHSU.

Libbey has always been an athlete and intrigued by what the body is capable of with proper training. Her love of fitness is continuously growing, and has led her to train in a variety of ways. She loves playing tennis, has competed in half marathons, triathlons, & powerlifting. Libbey has recently competed in three powerlifting competitions and holds two powerlifting state records. Her favorite thing about training is helping people reach their goals, regardless of their training experience.

When she isn't in the gym training herself, you can find her doing yoga, baking homemade bread, or spending time with her husband, two beautiful daughters, and their dogs.
